Cookies and tracking

Cookies are small files saved in your browser. We use:

  • Necessary cookies that keep the cart, currency, language and login working, plus a security cookie (astani_js, kept for 1 year) that protects our website from bots. These cookies don’t track you.
  • Analytics (Google Analytics) that show us how visitors use our shop, so we can make it better.
  • Marketing (Meta Pixel) that measures our ads on Facebook and Instagram and lets us show our products to people who have visited us.
  • Cookies from services we use: Mailchimp (newsletter and reminders about items left in your cart), WiserReview (product reviews), Klarna (checkout), Cloudflare (security) and Elfsight (the Instagram feed on our ambassador page).

Some of this information is also sent from our own server to Google and Meta, so we can measure our ads correctly. This includes which pages you view and, when you buy, your order value. When you buy or are logged in, your contact details are hashed (turned into a code that can’t be read as plain text) before they are shared with Meta, both by the Meta pixel in your browser and by our own server. Google may also receive them hashed for measurement, but never in plain text.

You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings.

Who we share your data with

We never sell your information. We only share it with companies that help us run our shop, and only what they need:

  • Klarna: payment and checkout
  • Delivery companies: to deliver your parcel
  • Mailchimp: newsletter and cart reminders
  • WiserReview and Trustpilot: review invitations
  • Google and Meta: website analytics and ad measurement
  • Stape: runs our tracking server
  • Hostinger, Cloudflare and Weglot: web hosting, security and translation of our pages
  • Elfsight: shows our Instagram feed on the ambassador page

Some of these companies are based outside the EU or send data there, for example to the US. These transfers are protected by the EU–US Data Privacy Framework or the EU’s standard contract clauses.

How long we keep your data

  • Order and accounting records: 7 years, as Swedish accounting law requires.
  • Newsletter: until you unsubscribe.
  • Customer service messages: as long as we need them to help you.
  • Website visitors in our ad audiences: up to 180 days.
  • Analytics data: only as long as we need it to understand how our shop is used.

Your rights

You have the right to see the information we have about you, to have it corrected or deleted, to limit or object to how we use it, and to get a copy of it. Where we use your consent, you can take it back at any time. Send us a message through our contact form and we’ll help you.

If you think we handle your data the wrong way, you can complain to the Swedish Authority for Privacy Protection (IMY) at imy.se.
